The Visual Artists' Association, the Artists' Trade Union and Danish Craftsmen and Designers have, in collaboration with VISDA, designed a new scheme whereby visual artists receive an extra remuneration for exhibition activities in Denmark. The scheme applies to all types of exhibitions by living visual artists. The payments will amount to DKK 1.000 to DKK 10.000 per person. A total of approximately one million kroner is set aside for the scheme per year.
As a visual artist, you apply by entering data about the exhibitions you have had in Denmark in the past year. The more activity, the greater the remuneration. You can apply for the additional remuneration in the period 1 January to 31 March each year, specifying exhibitions from the previous year.

Artists are often asked to make works or professional insight available in 'the service of the good cause'. In these contexts, it is a good idea to offer your expertise according to the principle: 'All for one'. It is recommended that remuneration is demanded if other contributors to the projects are remunerated.
