Kunstnermiddag i Kettinge

Middag for professionelle kunstnere!
Efter kunstnerens tale vil vi være vært for en middag til professionelle kunstnere. Middagen starter kl. 18 og fortsætter til kl. 22.00. Dette er en stor chance for at udvide dit netværk, aftale et besøg i hinandens studio, endda muligvis arrangere en workshop sammen eller simpelthen diskutere din fælles interesse for kunst over et glas vin og god mad. Middagen er selvfølgelig gratis.

Chloe Grove (UK)
Chloe Grove er en britisk kunstner, der bor og arbejder i Berlin, Tyskland. Hendes arbejde fokuserer på store format tegninger med farvede blyanter. For hendes ophold i Kettinge vil hun også gerne arbejder med grafik, et medie, hun har taget en pause fra, og dermed drage fordel af de tryk faciliteter, der er tilgængelige på Artlab.

Jean-Baptiste Monnin (FR)
Jean-Baptiste Monnin er en fransk kunstner, der bor og arbejder i Berlin, Tyskland. Han arbejder med forskellige medier, såsom tegning, fotografi og skulptur. Værkerne bærer tydelig præg af hans arkitektoniske baggrund. I hans store format, sort og hvid tegninger er det urbane rum, der omgiver mennesker og opfattelse af den, centralt i hans arbejde.

Om Art Lab Kettinge
Art Lab Kettinge er et kunstnerhjem for 2-4 professionelle kunstnere, herunder malere, musikere, arkitekter og andre fagfolk inden for kunstområdet. Stedet tilbyder forskellige studioer, der giver beboere mulighed for at arbejde innovativt i deres kreative sektor (herunder grafik, skulptur, maleri og musik og video/film).

Om galleriet
Galleri Heike Arndt DK er et dansk galleri beliggende i både Kettinge på Lolland siden 1989 samt i det gamle østtyske distrikt Friedrichshain i Berlin siden 2008, et område hvor den alternative og autentiske Berlin blomstrer.

Dinner only for professional artists!
After the artist talk, we will be hosting a dinner for professional artists. The dinner starts at 6pm and will go on until 10pm. This is a great chance to broaden your network, visit each other’s studios, even possibly arrange a workshop together, or simply discuss your mutual interest in art over a glass of wine and good food. The dinner is, of course, free of charge.

Chloe Grove (UK)
Chloe Grove is a British artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. Her work focuses on large format drawings made with coloured pencils. During her residency in Kettinge, she would like to get back to printmaking, a media she has taken a break from, and take advantage of the etching facilities available at the Artlab.

Jean-Baptiste Monnin (FR)
Jean-Baptiste Monnin is a French artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. He works with different creative mediums, such as drawing, photography and sculpture. The viewer can catch the sense of his architectural background in his large format, black and white drawings. The urban space that surrounds people and the perception that they have of it are central in his work.

About Art Lab Kettinge
Art Lab Kettinge is an Artist residency for 2-4 professional artists, including painters, musicians, architects and other professional people within the artistic field. The site contains various studios that give residents the opportunity to work innovatively in their creative sector (including graphics, sculpture, painting and music and video/film).

About the gallery
Gallery Heike Arndt DK are Danish galleries located in both Kettinge on Lolland since 1989 as well as in the old East German district of Friedrichshain in Berlin since 2008, an area where the alternative and authentic Berlin flourishes.
