NORDIC CULTURAL FOUNDATION

The foundation's task is to promote cultural cooperation between the Nordic countries Denmark,
Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, as well as the self-governing areas of the Faroe Islands, Greenland
and Åland.

The fund's START-UP pool supports the first idea development and networking phase within art and culture projects. Applications are open between 9 January and 26 May and between 7 August and 17 November and you get a response within 20 working days. At the same time, the project must simply accommodate a collaboration between two Nordic countries with an ambition to collaborate with several Nordic countries. You can apply for up to DKK 25.000 and no co-financing of the project is required. If you are looking for general project support, you can apply for up to DKK 500.000. This requires cooperation between at least three of the Nordic countries, co-financing of the project and there are two application deadlines per year. On 15 February 2023 and 1 September 2023.
