We publish an interview with you on our website about your exhibition and your practice. Your exhibition is also continuously shown on BKF's Instagram and Facebook, so that you and your work reach a large audience.
The work is exhibited in an approx. 2 month period for a fee of DKK 3.000 which is paid immediately after the end of the exhibition, unless otherwise agreed. BKF signs a contract with you - we use The New Exhibition Agreement which BKF, UKK and the Association of Danish Art Halls have made in collaboration - and review it together. The New Exhibition Agreement is your best tool for securing clear agreements and fees in the art world in the future.
It costs DKK 595 per quarter (DKK 198 per month) to be a member of BKF. The quota can be deducted from tax.
You can clarify any questions with our lawyer Klaus Pedersen when you are in the secretariat to hang up your work. Here you can also hear more about what BKF works with, how you can work professionally yourself and make wishes and suggestions for what you think we should put on the agenda.
We can mainly show pictures and smaller sculptures. Video and installation are by agreement. There is no requirement that the works must be newly produced for the exhibition at BKF. The works must be able to function in interaction with everyday life in the secretariat, where we guide and meet with members, hold meetings with cultural policy actors and much more.
You must be responsible for hanging or installing yourself, as well as providing digital photos of the works.
BKF covers travel costs for graduates residing outside the capital area. This applies to journeys by train or bus as well as by car, where we follow the State's tariffs for driving by car.
