Meet BKF at the Kulturmødet Mors 2017

25.06.17 | News

Artist-run projects and exhibition venues provide an unfiltered art experience. There is no gallerist, no market, no curator who puts together and manages the experience for one. The art is displayed without compromise. The only thing that controls the artist-run scene is the artists' own desire to create and show the art that they themselves think is most interesting right now. There is high artistic integrity. The pure product. And the artist-run spaces often develop exciting new exhibition formats.

The audience will have the opportunity to experience this at this year's edition of Kulturmøde Mors, which will run from the 24th to the 26th. August. The Visual Artists' Association (BKF) has set up a container at Kulturpladsen, which this year will be occupied by the artist-run exhibition venue Sydhavn Station.

Last year, Sydhavn Station won the BKF prize for Artist-run Exhibition Places of the Year for their ability to unite the popular with the avant-garde in a way that almost only Per Højholdt has done before. At Kulturmøde Mors 2017, the wildly growing artist collective presents a new exhibition in BKF's Container, and in the same place Kulturmøde guests will be able to experience debates and talks about art policy, art communication and concrete art projects.

Stop by the Visual Artists Association Container at Kulturpladsen and experience the artists' own spaces!
