Come along to the BKF conference on 4 April 2019:

The skills of art

There is much to gain for companies, municipalities and organizations that choose to involve visual artists in their work.

This is what a large number of private and public actors tell about at the conference The skills of art, organized by the Visual Artists Association (BKF).

The conference features 25 presenters from business, research and the world of art. See the full program for the conference here…

Moderator: TV host and journalist Tine Gøtzsche.

Tickets for the conference cost NOK 100, including morning coffee and lunch. Buy your ticket at Billetto here….

The conference takes place in Carlsberg Academy, in the old brewer JC Jacobsen's private villa, which in the years around 1860 formed the setting for some of the most important meetings of the time between business people, researchers and artists. An exemplary tradition that we hope to inspire today's leaders, scientists, artists and politicians to carry on!

Put a mark in your calendar 4. April 2019 and join us when the Association of Visual Artists invites you to an inspiring day about everything that the professional visual arts can contribute, also in other areas of society than in the art world.

The day offers, among other things, on:

  • Presentations of inspiring projects and new perspectives on where and how visual arts skills can be included in other professions
  • Discussions and panel debates with artists, researchers and business people
  • Artistic elements

The conference is supported by the Copyright Fund in BKF and by the Statens Kunstfond.
